Under its new brand name “fresh at work”, Coffee at Work GmbH & Co. KG offers an all-inclusive service for coffee and water provision in the workplace. The service comprises the provision of coffee machines and table water dispensers, including regular maintenance, but also includes the supply of coffee beans, milk powder, chocolate powder, and all other consumables.

Our positioning

Coffee at Work differentiates itself from the competition thanks to its fair and easily comprehensible contract design, as well as the outstanding quality of its services and the depth of its repairs. The contract-free business model contains neither leasing, rental, or minimum duration terms. All repair and maintenance work is covered by the all-inclusive, flat-rate price. This is the basis for fresh at work’s claim to provide the best service for satisfied customers.

Our strategy

The strategy of Coffee at Work is focused on expansion and international growth. In the past fiscal year, however, the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions largely prevented the company from implementing its planned strategic measures. As soon as the economic situation permits, the defined growth and expansion strategy will be resumed. Sustainability aspects will also play an important role in the strategic positioning of the operating division.

Market and business trends in 2021

As a B2B supplier, Coffee at Work has been severely affected by the effects of the pandemic: short-time work, remote working, and the resulting limited acquisition opportunities are impacting the operating division’s earnings situation. In the past fiscal year, new ways of working and communicating were established and the team was reorganized.

Outlook 2022

Coffee at Work expects an improvement in earnings from the third quarter of 2022 at the earliest. However, this depends to a large extent on whether efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic are successful.
